Corporate offices, hospitals and distribution sites
A corporate floor, a hospital staff lounge and a distribution office each need a different setup. Tell us how many people use the space and whether they want ice or hot water, and we will size the unit.
We look at team size, the location and how the water will be used, then install the unit and look after maintenance, filter replacement and repairs.
Plantation water: wells and membrane softening
In its 2020 water quality report, the most recent we could open, the City of Plantation says its water comes from a network of 16 groundwater wells that reach 110 feet into the Biscayne Aquifer. Two treatment plants, the East and Central Water Treatment Plants, treat the groundwater and send it into a common distribution system.
The report says the water is pumped through specially designed composite membranes, a process called membrane softening, and then chlorinated for disinfection. The city may have published newer reports since. Plantation customer service is at (954) 797-2290.
