Businesses, shops and seasonal homes
A busy retail space, a distribution office and a seasonal home each want something different from their water. Tell us how many people use the space, and whether it is full-time or seasonal, and we will recommend a model.
We look at team or household size, where the unit will go and how it will be used, then install it and look after maintenance, filter replacement and repair.
Pompano Beach water: two plants, Biscayne Aquifer
The city's 2025 water quality report says its water source is the Biscayne Aquifer, which extends from a few feet to approximately 200 feet below the land surface. Water is pumped at two wellfield sites to the treatment plant, where it is membrane and lime softened, filtered, optimized for corrosion control and disinfected. The report lists chloramines as the disinfectant.
The city's water page says Pompano Beach has two water treatment plants, one using lime and one using membrane filtration, and lists separate customer service lines for city water customers and Broward County water customers. Check your water bill to see which applies at your address. The city's Utilities Laboratory is at (954) 545-7018.
