Aventura does not run its own water utility. NMB Water, the utility of the City of North Miami Beach, says in its 2025 water quality report: "If you live in Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Miami Gardens, or Golden Beach, chances are you get your water from NMB Water." Because arrangements can vary by address, check your water bill.
According to that report, NMB draws groundwater from two aquifers. The Biscayne Aquifer lies about 10 to 200 feet below ground and is treated by lime softening, nanofiltration or both.
