Bottleless Water Coolers in Hollywood, FL
Hollywood is the third largest city in Broward County, with about 155,000 residents and six linear miles of Atlantic beaches. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport abuts the city, and Port Everglades is largely within its boundaries.
The city's financial report lists Memorial Healthcare System as its largest employer, with hospitals, Publix, the Diplomat Resort and Spa and Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort among the others.
Healthcare, hotels and offices
A hospital staff lounge, a hotel back office and a small professional suite all want filtered water, but not the same unit. Tell us how many people use the space and whether they want ice or hot water, and we will size it from there.
In a hotel, staff areas and guest-facing spaces can be set up separately. We look at team size, the location and how the water will be used, then install the unit and look after maintenance, filter replacement and repairs.
Hollywood makes its own drinking water
The City of Hollywood runs its own water treatment plant. Its water quality report says it pumps groundwater from wells that draw from the Biscayne and Floridan aquifers. The city's FAQ puts the Biscayne Aquifer at about 100 to 200 feet underground and the Floridan wells at approximately 900 feet. Floridan water is brackish and requires greater treatment.
Treatment combines lime softening and membrane filtration on Biscayne water with reverse osmosis on Floridan water, and the water is disinfected with chloramines. The city's 2023 report covers data from January 1 to December 31, 2023. For water quality questions, the city lists 954.921.3414.
Equipment for hospitality and healthcare staff areas
The AF-5000 suits a lobby or staff area with steady traffic and no need for ice. Where a larger team wants ice along with hot and cold water, the AF-i16 produces up to 165 lbs of ice per day. For advanced filtration needs, the AF-8000 combines 5-stage reverse osmosis, mineralization and UV self-cleaning.
