Bottleless Water Coolers in Miramar, FL

Miramar sits in southwestern Broward County, covers about 31 square miles and has about 139,500 residents. The city reports more than 3,900 businesses employing more than 34,000 people, with advanced manufacturing, aviation, technology and healthcare among its key sectors.

That mix means large office floors, distribution space and clinics, and each one needs a different setup.

Installation

Office floors, distribution space and clinics

A large office floor or a break room shared across shifts needs a unit sized for steady traffic, and ice is worth asking about. For a clinic waiting room or staff area, a compact countertop model may be all the space allows.

We look at team size, the location and how the water will be used, then install the unit and look after maintenance, filter replacement and repairs.

Miramar runs its own water treatment

The City of Miramar owns and operates two water treatment plants, the East plant and the West plant. Both receive groundwater from the Biscayne and Floridan aquifers through production wells. The Biscayne Aquifer lies roughly 60 to 150 feet below the ground surface, and Floridan water is withdrawn from about 1,350 feet.

The East plant uses nanofiltration. The West plant uses both nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. According to the city's 2024 water quality report, both processes are designed to remove sediments, harmful bacteria and certain minerals before disinfection by chlorination.

The report says the city's plants complied with all National Primary Drinking Water Regulations, and that a new 2.5 MGD reverse osmosis train is under construction at the West plant. Miramar customer service answers water questions at (954) 602-HELP (4357).

Equipment for offices and break rooms

The AF-Ice 900 is designed for busy workplaces, with 44 lbs of daily ice production and 8 lbs of extra storage. The AF-5000 is a commercial-grade model with hot and cold dispensing for high-traffic spaces. Where purification comes first, the AF-500 uses multi-stage ultra-filtration or reverse osmosis and adds adjustable cooling.
